Kid's sock sizes as follows - Size XS fits US shoe size 6-8.5(euro 22-25), size S fits US shoe size 9-11.5(euro 26-28), size M fits US shoe size 12-2.5(euro 29-32), size L fits US shoe size 3-6(euro 33-36).

They are warm but not too bulky in his boots. I have SmartWool socks myself and I really like them. They wash & dry without shrinking. I would buy them again.
