2.0 out of 5 stars Not so good in the rain and low quality, December 17, 2010

I had these gloves for a couple of weeks before returning them. They look nice and have a nice feel even though the fit was not great. The thumb was too big which is rarely a problem for me when everything else fits.
After wearing them once in a medium strength rain for about an hour they completely soaked and took quite long to dry up. In addition the reflective iQ logo and stripe fell off. That was quite disappointing for Pearl Izumi gloves.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hurt like mad, March 10, 2011

The padding tends to dig into my hands after ~60 miles. I ended up having to cut the pads out. They're also quite bad at keeping out the cold. Don't expect to use them below 50F.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tight fit, April 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Pearl Izumi Men's Cyclone Glove (Apparel)
While I cannot speak to the performance of this glove (I had to return it because of a defective stitching job on the right index finger), I can talk about the materials and fit:

I purchased the Screaming Yellow color and I was certainly able to see them. After putting on my sunglasses, I looked at the fabric which looked and felt cheap. The Stitching on the upper seemed a little loose for a glove designed to keep the wind out. The palm of the glove also felt to be of inferior workmanship.

I ordered Extra Large sized gloves and once they were on my hands, they fit well. But the real issue was getting them on my hands. The opening was extremely narrow, and it was difficult to scrunch my hand properly to get it into the glove.

All in all, I am grateful that I got a defective pair because I think I would have been dissatisfied with my purchase.

I hope this helps!
