Madame et monsieur, I must foremost express contrition for my pragmatism, but I hasten to bemoan this simply dreadful pocket magnifier. Among my great many pocket magnifiers, monocles, and opera glasses, it is my very least treasured. I deigned to purchasing this, for lack of better intonation, "economical" pocket magnifier whence I could not locate my favorite: a magnifier forged from the finest swiss platinum, hand-ground from glass recovered from the great Swedish warship Vasa, festooned with a chain once draped around the neck of Liliuokalani (the last monarch of Hawaii before the United States' forced constitution) and originally commissioned for Albert Edward, Prince of Wales.However, in all my armoires and wardrobes, I could not locate my prized magnifier.
