I found these on line and have been very pleased with the quality of the product, and the ability to lock (with supplied screws and screwdriver) the brace at a certain angle of flex to keep my knee from hyper flexing in reverse. The only negative that I have is because of the material that they are made out of, they get very hot. I wear these at work with my jeans over them, so maybe if you are running in shorts, the heat build up with not be as big as a issue. I was starting to have some grinding and shifting in my knee. I talked to my boss (who is a chiropractor), and he told me it was my kneecap shifting, and I should do strengthening exercises, and wear a knee support that stabilizes the kneecap while I'm running. I read reviews online, and thought this one would be good, because of the adjustable butress around the patella. I measured my thigh and calf as instructed on the manufacturer website, and placed my order. It came when it was supposed to, I put it on, and it offered NO support what-so-ever for the patella. I'm not sure if I ordered a size too big or what, but it was really loose around my kneecap and had to wear another knee support under this one to get any kind of stabilization.
