3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Solid Access Point, WPA-Enterprise Setup is Clean., By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: D-Link DWL-3200AP Managed AP PoE AES SNMP 802.11g Plenum Chassis (Personal Computers) Unit is solid and sturdy and has a bit of a utilitarian look to it. The software that comes with it lets you manage multiples of these devices at a time at a layer 2 level, meaning even if you don't know what it's IP address it, it'll find it and you can set it.I had never setup WPA enterprise before, so it took a little bit of googling and trial and error, but I did get this going. I have not used it, but the AP can log directly to a server (SQL server, I think). It doesn't say anywhere, and I had to ask DLink support about this: It supports 64 simultaneous clients and its range is VERY good. I use it indoors in a 2-story house. The device is in the second floor, near the center of the house (which is about 10 meters wide and about 18 meters deep) and it covers indoors entirely, both floors! Conceded, on the... Read more |
