It doesn't take up much room, is easy to assemble and is a nice addition to the room. Instead of tripping over a guitar or knocking one over, you can easily place the guitars on the Stand, and when you want to get a different one, it will be right at your finger tips. It definitely makes a nice gift or a treat for one's personal collection. It is too small to hold full size guitars, which makes it all the more special for the Guitar Hero/Rock Band Super Star, as it was made just for them. I'm guessing it was designed this way for stability and it worked. The hooks and guitar rests are nicely padded; no worries over your guitars getting scratched.
