It had 256 of shared onboard memory which made it terrible for gaming.After buying this card the graphics and performace in EVERYTHING was better. No more lagging in games, beautiful picture (using it with a 19" LCD WideScreen monitor), and fast performace. I wanted a card that I could put in without upgrading the power supply as my computer only came with a 300watt PSU. This card definetly did the trick. No need to upgrade as it only requires a 300watt power supply. Installation was a breeze! Simply disable the current onboard video in the control panel, shut the pc down, unplug the power and video cables, pop the new Geforce 7300gt into the PCI Express 16x slot, one screw to tighten on top of the card to the pc case, close the case back up, plug everything back in, turn on and do a simple driver update, system restart once and I was good to go. This card is doing the job quite well. I did have the first card sent fail after a few hours use. I notified Amazon and was immediately shipped a replacement.
